Symantec Encryption and a BSOD after power failure

Evening everybody,

Got a client who is caught between a rock and a hard place.
They have a Dell desktop that acts as their file server that contains the files that everyone in the office uses. Due to a power outage last week, when this pc boots it gets error 0xc0000001 "Critical_Service_Failure".
Now the best part is that this workstation also has Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.4.0 installed so EVERY bloody option I have tried (booting to windows media, trying chkdsk from recovery options) are all stonewalled by this encryption software.
Now I have gone to Symantec's website and looked into decrypting the drive using their recovery options (Found here: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH235058.html). Problem is when I boot to this decrypter, it gives the drive a very quick scan and spits back "No Record found. Press any key to continue". Which I expect where the drive essentially needs to have chkdsk run.......buuuuuuuttt due to the encryption I can't run chkdsk.

So have any of you gotten stuck in this situation and turned out victorious?

Thanks in advance.
