For those near a Kroger, check out this player, currently on sale for $159 + tax.
Here are some reviews on Amazon.
I bought one and it works, loading time is slower than i'm used to on regular DVD's, but it's not bad. Once it starts playing, skipping between chapters and going to the menu is relatively quick. The unit is quite silent as well.
Take note, this is for the NB501SL9, i'm not quite sure what the hardware difference is between this and the NB500SL9 (which, to its credit, includes the HDMI cable).
I currently have it connected to an Infocus X1 at 1080i --- Holy cow! I thought i needed a new HD projector to appreciate Blu Ray, but that is nowhere near the case.
