what's the response time? also, there are no reviews out there for this... but it's made by Proview... any ideas what it's equivalent proview model number is?

That response time totally kills the deal for me. There is really no reason to get a LCD sbove 16ms response time these days, especially since they seem to be on sale a lot.

30ms can be just fine. 16ms isnt always great (some 16s use dithering for colors). It all matters on the panel. The best way to fine out is to try the lcd, next would be a good review.

actually, most 16ms panels use dithering tech like mentioned by deals99, so for a big chunk of the color spectrum the monitor is forced to do doing 16ms x 2, making it 32 ms repsonse time for most colors. thats why a lot of 20ms panels are rated as having better performance in reviews.

goot deal nonetheless.

response time 30 ms? the standard now is 25 ms and even that almost gaurantees ghosting. If it's not a 16 ms or better then it will not be worth it.

Very true. Put all your eggs into the response time number and you may end up with a LCD you are not happy with.
