I set an advanced rule to allow azureus through but sygate keeps poppin up saying its blocking something from it. I thought advanced rules overide everything?

u shouldnt need advanced rules to get azureus to work, if you have a router that thats the problem, i had to open ports from the routers webbased software to let azureus connect

you can try to give azureus server rights , maybe that could help , even though you shouldnt have to do that...

Also u should consider switching to utorrent, i switched like week ago from azureus cause utorrent does the same job and only uses 3.7 mb of memory where azureus uses around 60 mb lol also surfing the net without setting upload limits with azureus was almost impossible, with utorrent i dont have that problem

just something u might want to look into.

yeah open your listening port and make sure your firewall lets act like a server service. :! my fav torrent is azureus 🙂 and i don't mind it using a lot memory used as my server has 2GB of memory and it basically doesn?t do anything now days as i stopped running any type on services that I use to before. azureus has a cool interface and alot of plugin.
