Sygate with Win2000

Okay, I just installed Windows 2000 (I know, I'm late...saw it on sale....should've waited for XP) but now my Sygate Home Networking isn't working....how do I get it to work? Sorry, I know this is probably stupid, but I don't know much about computers. Thanks in advance....
 
i have never used this product but i took a quick look at their website... what version are you using? take a look here and see if it helps
 
control panel --> network & dial-up connections --> double click on the proper local area connection --> click properties --> click on internet protocol (tcp/ip) and select properties
