Ah SciFi, how low you have fallen.

Ever since "ghost hunters" became the mainstay of the syfy channel, it has become total and utter suck. I guess the producers really want to cancel that channel.

Seriously, Good scifi isn't impossible, check out quantum leap if you don't believe me. Hell, it didn't even have a ton of special effects. It would be pretty cheap to produce today.

It's like the minor leagues of baseball. All the syfy execs want to get called up to the big leagues, NBC, so they try to make shows that are less scifi and more mainstream.

The Syfy channel is an insult to the Science Fiction Genre. So I'm glad they changed there name from Sci-Fi to Syfy. Fits them well.

Some of the stuff the head of Syfy has said about old fans was harsh. That they are basement dwellers & how MST3K was lame.

Yes a good Science Fiction channel could be done. However I think it's too late for Syfy. Plus were moving into the On-Demand future anyways.

They were good until they released there Original Movies. However not all were awful. Tin Man was good even though it's not what I think of when I think Science Fiction. Oh well.

People need to stop whining about the Syfy channel it is what it is and I doubt it will get better as they wouldn't have these movies if they didn't make money.

Plus doesn't it have some good Sci-Fi themed shows?

I don't think so. I think they just turned out SO bad people figured it must be done on purpose.

No, they know they are making absurd movies. If they were unaware of this fact they'd be too stupid to even operate a camera.

It's all in good fun. I be the writing staff has a great time putting the dialogue together.

Also lots of our favorite actors get starts in these movies. Adam Baldwin, etc. all used to be regular cast members in Asylum movies.
