Been griping myself long enough that no one has done enough shows based on some of the classic speculative fiction over time.

Will have to check them out myself, hopefully it isn't a lost cause.

OK, I didn't see that coming at the end of Childhood. Someone want to PM me what that was all about?

Magician was interesting. Sucks that I gotta wait a month for the series to start.

I really liked Childhood Ends. The intertwining with religion etc was interesting and I really didn't know what the outcome was going to be. I assumed knowing about ACC's other stories, these were not going to be
evil
aliens, but they did a good job of keeping you guessing. What I don't understand is in the WHOLE thing no one asked him - why do you look exactly like our demons?

Also -
I was confused. What started the evolution of the children? Did the overlords do that or was it just going to happen anyway via the other 'overwhateverthey were'? Was this explained better in the book? It just seemed like it happened really quick like something jump started it. I also get the impression they had been to Earth before - thus immaculate conception, prophets, Jesus (Jennifer - and the awakening??), demons, etc but they never really said that either.
