The first motherboard I bought would not work as it did no beep nor did the screen come on. I was told by the technician that checked it out that the motherboard was bad. I bought the P4vte and am having the same problem cept I did get the screen to show me that there was a CMOS failure. I did F1 and checked everything and it all looked fine. I did forget to use the default setting tho. Anyway I now have a blank screen.
System turns on, but there is no beep, as it just sits there running. Removed memory and the system still would only run with no beep. Cleared the CMOS and same thing. Removed the hardware and same thing. I'm lost. Any clues???? Could it be the memory stick??
One more thing. Could someone tell me what video card it will take as it would not take my AIW AGP card as it would not fit in the AGP slot. The video card will need two notches to fit. I would have no clue where to start on that one.
