I'm building a computer for my fiance and I wanted to know if anyone knew of any comparisons between the two or first hand experience working with both of them. I personaly have the MSI KT880 Delta and it works like a charm.

Performance is very much the same, the SOYO board has a few extra features (ALI PATA/SATA Raid controller, Firewire) that are not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Btw, the SOYO board has Firewire but doesn't come with Firewire ports. You need to use the connectors from a case, or buy an acessory from SOYO, if they sell them.

Did you think about getting yourself a cheap socket 754 combo and giving away your KT880 to the fiance? 😉

I'm kinda out of the loop a bit and I've been looking at a bunch of options. I was surprised to see the new AMD processor so dominate and I didnt think the new XPs were gonna fade out =/
