Has anybody cut out the stamped fan guards? I have 4 Panaflo L1A's in mine and it's not real loud but I was wondering if I cut out the stamped fan guards, how much quieter would it make it since it would reduce the turbulance. If someone has done this, I'd like to know your opinion on how much quieter it was before and after. I don't want to cut mine out if the difference isn't noticeable.
 
took the stamped guard off my powersupply. Looks nicer. Can't tell noise difference, those things are pretty quiet.
 
I think it does because I had 4 sunons in my case and when they weren't blowing through the guards they were quiet but when they were they were noisy.
