Im just wondering if you use swype or regular soft or hard keyboard on your phone, and your reason for either.

Vote above.

I use actual keys on my phone. Because I don't want to pay for a smartphone + data plan. Though I keep thinking about it.

I'm on Windows Phone, so stock touch keyboard.

It works well enough. Sometimes I miss the physical keys on my old Dell Venue Pro. It was massive vertically but good to use in Office.

I have used both a bit, swype by far, less corrections meaning faster overall.

Swype. I find it way faster and easier.

Now that I think about it, the question is like the digital input version of cursive versus print.

not exactly sure which keyboard i'm using...i believe its just a modified version of the samsung jellybean keyboard. anyways, I use both. the keyboard allows you to use either. I'm transitioning to more swype though lately.

SwiftKey Flow. I used to use swype but I find I prefer SwiftKey because if I decide to type out SwiftKey is better at prediction.

swype is ridiculously good. there are some other good keyboards out there but swyping is fast, accurate, and easy to do one-handed and fast at the same time.

sorry iPhone users, Apple doesn't trust you to use any other keyboard. they must feel it's a decision best left to them and them only.

SwiftKey is my go to keyboard on my Note 2, my girls GS3, and my tablets. Love it.

I'm an iPhone user, and while choice is good I wouldn't use Swype or Swiftkey even if they were on the Apple Store. I was an Android user for years and used every version of both. Swiftkey was great for Android, but imho nothing comes close to the iPhone keyboard.

I agree but somebody, *cough* me *cough*, dropped it whilst skiing. So now I have the just extremely perfect and amazingly capable, and well endowed in the RAM department, Motorola Droid Global 2!

Swifkey Flow. Bought Swiftkey when it was on sale on the PlayStore awhile back, switched to Swiftkey Flow when it was in Beta and then back to Swiftkey once the Beta was done and flow incorporated into the main Swiftkey app.

Excellent keyboard and great for when you type the same types of messages as it really has unbeatable prediction based on what and how you type.

Swiftkey Flow, the combination of their excellent prediction with swype-style typing is practically unbeatable.

SwiftKey Flow

Swype has gone down hill over the last few releases and I'm glad something else brought that functionality to a better keyboard.
