Sword falls off wall and kills teen!

Suprised all the gun-grabbers arent in here telling us that swords are evil and anyone who owns them is a macho/psycho bastard.

That and we need laws to make swords illegal.

Its just precariously on the wall in a way it can fall? That seems... strange... It should at least lock into place or something so it cant fall if for any other reason than to preven the sword being damaged by falling.

If a werewolf comes through your window, you won't have time to unlock it.

If you look at the picture of mine (picture is in the old thread linked above) you will see that the sword on my wall is secured very well in a wooden plaque. The problem was my wive moved the couch to vacuum behind it and STOOD UP under the exposed point and skewered her back.

It sounds like the poor teen in Florida did NOT have his secured very well

Give it time. This thread is only a few minutes old.

I dont even mean lock in the traditional lock and key sense, just like a grip or something so it could "snap into place" and not physically fall off the wall.

See, guns and swords DO kill people.

I'd say the tard that placed a giant knife precariously on the wall above his bed and then didn't secure it killed himself.

i don't recall seeing this mentioned in the thread anywhere, but i just read the actual story on this. the kids siblings were playing with a ball in the house and the ball hit the sword causing it to fall. it didn't fall by itself.

poor kid =( I wonder why he didn't have sword in a cover....(fudge...brainfart....wtf is the word i'm looking for?)
