Switching on an ATX PSU

okay guys, this may be a stupid question, but tell me, how do i switch on an ATX psu without a soft switch, can I just connect the positive and negative pins on the mobo for a moment?...
I don't have a clue, LMK

OK, If you hold an atx board connector in your hand, and have the Clip facing to the right,as you are looking at the female end of the connector, the Mobo on wire will be the 4th wire down on the right side, the ground wire will be the black wire directly below it, which is the fifth wire. Use a jumper wire, and hook each side up to a standard 12v switch, and it will work for you. PM me if you would need a pic. I am not responsible for anything :)
