Switching on an ATX PSU

okay guys, this may be a stupid question, but tell me, how do i switch on an ATX psu without a soft switch, can I just connect the positive and negative pins on the mobo for a moment?...
I don't have a clue, LMK

Yes, temporarily close the two pins on the mobo using an insulaed material like a flat tip screw driver. Better yet go to Radio Shack and buy a $1.99 switch.
