Switching Motherboards and Raid Question

I had a ASUS A7N8X DELUXE set with SATA Raid stripping. I upgraded to a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum plugged in the SATA drives. Configured the SATA raid controller to stripping but no go. Am I missing a step? I need the data on the old hard drives so I just can't reformat.

Any Help is greatly appreciated.
 
Put the drives back on the old mobo and back up the data to a third hard drive, CDs, DVDs, network, etc.
