Switching mobos, is there anything I need to know?

I am switching my K7S5A to a Shuttle AN35 Series mobo. Will I need to reinstall windows, or do anything drastic, besides install the boards drivers.

Yes, format and reinstall windows, you'll have problems if you don't.

There is a small chance you might get away with it, but it's a really bad idea, as you are almost certain to have major stability and performance problems.

I'm planning an upgrade next week and I asked the same question. I too was hoping to get away with it but i'm not going to chance it. Thats why i'm doing this upgrade on my weeks vacation. I'll have plenty of time to format, and reinstall.
