Switching Intel motherboards

I just got a new motherboard ECS PF21 (925) for Intel socket 775 from my old MSI 915P Combo-FR (915). Now should switching motherboards cause much of a problem? I hear I just need to run a windows repair to get everything back and running?
I also understand that when I get my OS working again I will have to uninstall chipset drivers and whatnot but all I really want is to be able to boot to windows.

I did a search on the issue but all the answer where for AMD boards so I want to make sure with Intel.
