Switching Harddrives onto a new system...

I'm building a new computer but i want to use my old harddrives. IF i switch my harddrive onto the different rig, will Windows cease to be registered? Will I be forced to buy new version of windowsxp??
 
Most likely you will be asked to register. A simple phone call to Microsoft telling them about you upgrade will yield a key to your Licensed version if you are not using it on another machine.
