my phone line is out.
i called verizon and they are offering a special.
switch to fiber network (but not fios??) and i get 3meg internet for the same price as my dsl 1meg internet. it's a $40 discount over their normal price and i will continue to get that $40 discount forever. (sceptical about this.)
they will give me a router and 8hr battery backup.
curently with my phone, if power goes out for the house i still have phone service sicne the phone jack powers the phone.
pros/cons of switching?
If you switched, any horror stories about billing or service?
