Switching cell phone SIM chips

Hi all,

I am thinking about buying a used cell phone and I have a question about what switching the SIM chips do exactly. I've been reading a bit about it, but still am not entirely clear.

Right now I have a Cingular Samsung C207 phone but the screen was damaged and isn't working anymore.

I found a used unlocked Tmobile Nokia 6010 phone that looks like a good deal.

My question is if I take the SIM card out of my Samsung and put it in the Nokia phone will I get the Cingular service features on the Nokia that I had on my Samsung? (Like Media Net?) Or will it be stuck with Tmobile features like Tzones that I wouldn't be able to use?

Thanks very much for any info.
