hello, quick question fellas, how many switches can you connect in succession before the signal is lost. also, i know the length limit for Cat5e's is like 100m, can i stretch 5e's indefinitely as long as i have a switch within every 100m or is there a limit at some point?

I thought there was a limit at some point due to convergence or something. Am I wrong?
