I found this utility a couple of days ago, and will vouch that it is FARRRRRR superior to flip 3d.

Just downloaded it based on your post, very nice. Now if I can just get full screen VMware machines to past certain key combos to the host I'll be VERY happy

It's nice. Much better than the flashy yet useless flip3D. However, it's a wee bit choppy on my rig, something that surprised me.

Hmm, it's mostly smooth on my MUCH less capable system (amd3000+, 1gb memory, 1950pro 256mb) - and I'll be upgrading soon to a similar spec to you, I was hoping it would be smooth-as on that

Apparently if you run all of your windows maximised that slows it down a lot when you activate it.

Finally got to install this and Vista today. It is MUCH better than Flip 3d and almost as quick as Expose.
