Ultra DMA wasnt working properly for my dvd-rw drive so i set both controllers to PIO mode hoping that after i restarted i could reset back to ultra-DMA mode and it would work properly (Its worked in the past)

After restart it booted into windows XP and kept loading and loading until it finally restarted again, but this time the bios wasnt able to pick up the hd at all. I was able to get into recovery mode using the windows xp cd and am currently at the recover console C:/Windows
Is there anyway to set ata mode back to ultra DMA through this? if not how do i fix it... Thank you
