Case point: wanted to see what caused Dwayne Johnson to not get drafted into NFL.

Google Results:
2013 NFL Free Agency: Buffalo Bills Should Stay Away from WR
5 Undrafted Dallas Cowboys Players Who Could Prove to Be Gem
therock @therock Instagram photos | Webstagram
TNA SIGNS BIG FREE AGENT | IGN Boards - IGN.com
Instagram photos for tag #dwaynejohnson | Statigram
Dwayne Johnson (TheRock) on Twitter
Instagram - Dime Magazine
Free Agent Watch: Joe Johnson - Video Dailymotion

Literally first page is either web2.0 bullshit (OMG instagram) or totally unrelated, neither containing the word "undrafted". This has been happening to me very frequently lately with google, they simply drop the keyword that will filter down my search and bring in some completely unrelated social media bullshit.

Bing Results:
Men's Health - Celebrity Fitness - The Rock's Workout: The ... (talks about his injury that prevented his draft)
Dwayne Johnson - SAS Wiki (talks about his college career, injury etc. )
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson | Men's Health - … (again same thing injury)
...

All the hits had the word "undrafted" and Dwayne Johnson in it and no twitter/instagram/16 year old girl unrelated bullshit spam.

I've been using bing for about a year. It's ok only for very simple searches. Anything remotely complex like finding information on uncommon Linux issues it's a complete waste.

I switched to Bing because they giving points which could be converted to amazon gift cards or XBL points, but since the beginning they've DRASTICALLY reduced payouts. No doubt because bots were abusing it, but still....

What was your search term?

Bing is superior for about 10% of searches in my experience. I'm not switching any time soon.

"dwayne johnson undrafted"

Google literally bolded "instagram" along with "dwayne" and "johnson" on my phone; as if that's the relevant part of the information I'm after.

I searched "why did dwayne johnson go undrafted" and got decent enough results.

However, anyone know follows football should know the reason already. He got injured and Warren Sapp got to start in his place. Once you're behind one of the best defensive linemen in history, you're done.

YASTBT. But if you're happy with it, great.

For my searches which are mostly tech but with a bit of music, movies and misc, I find Google far superior.

Finding development articles on Microsoft's site is much easier for me with Google than with Bing.

In theory, if they get to "track" you, I believe both of them improve their results based on their knowledge of what you want.

FWIW, been using Bing since it was Live search (yeah, the money got me into that) and fine with it. Switched a few people and when I come back they are still using it, so can't be too bad.

I probably recheck results with Google less than half a dozen times a year.

Google is trash for porn, switched to bing for images.

They forced the safesearch thing about a year ago, you can turn it off but google will still filter results anyways. Put tits into google then bing, see the difference!

When the Internet and Awesome had a baby, it was named Google. But as we all know, every family needs a retarded cousin. So one night, a drunk Microsoft programmer sensed that gaping hole of need, and wrote up a program for Bing.

Microsoft employee named David Webster, who is either very stupid or very radass, originally proposed the name 'Bang.'

For obvious reasons, mainly that all men who work at Microsoft are virgins who are uncomfortable with their lack of sexual experience, this idea was vetoed. In my opinion, a whole lot more people would use a search engine called BANG than Bing.

Long ago abandoned any of the big boys as utterly useless. Only MS products used here are XP & 7 os's, or Office 97-03. Other than that MS is a useless pile of shit who does everything wrong. Google doesn't even get that much slack from me any more, since they crippled G+ and became internet trolls extraordinaire.

Fuck em both I say.

The Rock fighting Miami Hurricane teammate Kevin Patrick:

Webber: "They start going at it and I ran down through that weight room and had to unlock the door -- in the meantime they had flown over my desk and tore the desk to pieces and knocked everything off there, and they were back in a little bitty hole behind the desk just wearing each other out.

"Dwayne ended up getting on top of him and he was trying to get a hold of his tongue. He was saying, 'I’m going to pull that tongue out of your head if you keep talking that trash.'

And what the heck...The Rock is now Canadian!
