I had a bad flash on my Asus A7Pro last night. I decided to just replace the board rather than order a new BIOS.
I picked up an Asus A7V8X-X this morning and swapped boards. I was all set to reinstall Windows XP, but my CD-ROM drive jumpers were set wrong, and I booted into my C drive. I thought that it wouldn't work, but I sat back and watched it open up. I've gone through my registry and looked at my drivers- and I can't find a thing that looks unusual. Everything is stable, so far.
Am i just lucky, or is this a common occurence?
