Switched cases, PC won't turn on?

I just swapped cases and now the PC will not turn on.

When I press the power button the HDD and power LEDs flicker on for a fraction of a second as well as the case/CPU fans.

I've rechecked the connections and tried different power outlets.

I switched PSU's and the same thing happens.

There is NO smell like something burned or leaked.

I connected the power switch from the old case and it does the exact same thing.

I'm dumbfounded...

EDIT: I figured it out. There was a screw touching the board and the tray. It seems to be okay though. I only hit the power button about 8 times. And after the first time pushing the power button the LEDs and fans wouldn't do anything unless I unplugged/replugged the power cord. Maybe it has some cut off built in?
