switch to turn off 2 case fans, bad for PSU?

i was thinking of installing an on-off flip-switch for 2 of my 4 case fans that make noise when i am not using the computer. would an on-off switch effect the power supply negatively? is there anybody out there using switches instead of buying expensive fan controllers?

You don't need an expensive fan controller. This controller is very cheap and allows you to totally turn off each fan.

No problem using a switch either. Just be sure your system doesn't get too warm after you switch them off. If it does, then maybe a controller wouldn't be such a bad idea as you could slow those noisy fans down w/o having to turn them completely off...
