Originally I planned on doing not much Overclocking, so I didn't pay much attention to whether or not I got a good mobo for ocing. I ended up with the msi board b/c I got a good deal. It is fine, but once I got it I did become real interested in overclocking it, and it seems like it is not the best. For example, you don't get much precision in cpu voltage choices, and I can't go above 1.71v, and I'd like to go higher. I have also read about problems with voltages not going through correctly and problems with the 3X multiplier setting. Especially down the road, I'm going to want to oc the bejeesus out of this thing, so im wondering if the msi board is going to cut it.
So I'm wondering if the dfi bios has better options and settings for ocing (and what they are and why they are better) and if it's worth it to make the switch.....any input would be appreciated, thanks.
