Switch? Hub?

I am thinking about networking 3 computers and a cable modem. Later on I might network two more computers, making a total of 5. Should I used a switch or hub in this situation?
 
Definitely go with the switch. The price difference is small these days, and the throughput on each port is guaranteed on a switch.
