Switch/Crossover cable/Straight-thru setup questions...

I've got 2 rooms with 2 RJ45 wall plates, one PC in each room.

One room is wired 568B and the other is 568B as well. I'd like to have the PCs connected using a router (really, using it as a switch)

One PC can connect right to the router, no problem. However, I'd like the router to connect to the wallplate in this room, which will eventually lead to the 2nd PC (router to wall in room1, then to wall in room2, then to PC in room2)

How would my cables need to be configured?

Here's one guess:

Router ----------568A straight thru----->Wall plate ---568B straight thru to 568B---Wall Plate-----568A straight thru--------->PC

TIA

I think most nodes these days use auto-mdix or similsr technology to make us not worry about straight-through/crossover concerns.
