I just recently purchased this laptop with the celeron in it and was wondering if the board in it would support any p4 centrino, or other processor...if so, would it increase battary life ? thanks...

A celeron M is clocked down just like the centrino, and the wattage useage in significantly decreased.
This processor is not based on normal Pentium 4's but on the Pentium M (centrino) so the battery life is pretty much the same.
