Who makes the best and where can i get them, does anyone know the laws pertaining to them in Oregon or elsewhere. I have one now but i would like to pick up others.

I'm under the impression switch blades are illegal, AFAIK. You can get spring-assisted ones, which require you to open the blade a little, at which point the spring kicks in and fully opens the knife. Those are legal.

legal in FL...but clip or knife must be visible.....if you have it and a cop confronts you LET HIM KNOW~!

i think theyre illegal here in NC, everyone ive asked has told me they are anyway...granted none of them are cops or lawyers

anyway, theyre widely available at any of the public knife shows, so maybe theyre not, or maybe nobody really cares.

i have a stiletto style switchblade
got it at a knife show, oughtta toss it, blade wont hold an edge

however, i have a butterfly knife from the same show, and i like it quite a bit 🙂
