All Android users please go checkout this app. I've been looking for something like this forever and only just noticed it in the Play Store.

You can set each side and corner of your phone to act as a "launcher" or sorts, which gives you quick access to anything be it specific apps, recent apps, contacts, etc. You trigger it by swiping in (like how the new Blackberry works).

I have mine setup so that if I swipe in from the bottom I can launch my "Screen Off" app, so on my Note 2 I can easily turn the screen off from the bottom of the device. Also next to that is recent apps so I don't have to hold the Home button. If I swipe in from the right side I have a list of direct dials ready to go. Awesome stuff.

Don't most launchers have these types of swipe gestures built in now though? This sounds like what I've been able to do with Nova Prime for a while now.

Yup.

I have my swipe up to open app drawer so I don't need to have a button. Swipe down from anywhere on the launcher opens notifications (I don't have to reach as far to the top to open it now)

Edit: Actually the app is still useful because you can do the gestures from any window. The launchers require you to be at the launcher.

Other launchers may have similar function, but the benefit of this is that it works regardless of what launcher you use, it works in any app (not just at your home screen), and you can customize it a great deal.

I personally like this App for its multiasking support. I always thought the current system is slow/inefficient.

I used to use wave launcher but it always felt a bit wonky to me. This app feels much nicer. I don't really care much for many other gestures though.

If you're just interested in multitasking, there's another cool app called Swapps which let's you put a gesture slide in on the right or left (top, center, or bottom). You can put specific apps, recent apps, and your whole app drawer in a scrolling column, or pick which of those you want. I have it set just for recent apps.
