Swing/Java Crashes Dos Box?

I have been playing around with Swing, using the SDK 1.2.2 and every once in a while (quite consistently) after I compiled and run a few applications (swing mostly), and go off and do something else (like browse the web), the dang dos box stops responding and there is nothing I can do to close it or restart another one. Mind you, this *after* I *have exited* whatever Swing application I was running before. I am also running IE, ICQ, Windows Explorer, etc.. at the same time. This never happened with 1.1.8 at all, so I think there is something swingish going on here 🙂

Any ideas?

It's not nice to work on a program and have to cold-reboot it every hour or so (it does shut everything down if I just do shut down. If I try to kill the dos box, it gets completely messed up)

Suppose I could download 1.3... only 30 mb.. 🙂

Why not just download JBuilder 4 Foundation from Borland? The download is about 30 MBs. However, the down side is that some of the documentation is not fully available in this download. After getting frustrated with the documentation not falling into the right directories, I just went out and purchased JBuilder 4 Foundation @ CompUSA for $49.00 on CD. So far, so good - all documentation is present and all is working well.
