Does anyone here have much experience with this topic?

I'm way too blind without my contacts to simply not wear them (wouldn't be able to identify someone three feet away), so that ain't an option. My fiancee and I are heading to Florida this summer, so I better get me some goggles or something.

So... any suggestions? Thanks in advance, as usual.

omg. I jumped into the water once with my contacts and they both fell out.

that said i've also gone to waterparks with my contacts on and they were fine...

maybe it was the new type of lenses that just dont mix with water

you definitely want goggles...

Eh I never really have a problem, they just may feel more dried out than normal.

Just go to a sportings good store and buy a pair of speedo goggles, "sprint" I think is best model, with tinted lenses, with foam suction (rubber sucks).

If you're just playing in the water, you may not need goggles. When I'm goofing off at the beach, riding the waves, or taking a short swim in a lake or something I don't wear goggles and my contacts are fine - I just close my eyes when under water. It's only when swimming laps that I wear goggles.

Not hard to get goggles, just stop in at a sporting goods store.

I have those, but still wouldn;t dream of goign in..I just take my glasses.....

I've tried taking my contacts with me and poppoing them out, but for some reaso nI think I need at least an hour for all the chemicals to get cycled out of my eye. I once put my contacts on in the gym and they were red for liek a week.

I don't wear my contacts while swimming, I just keep my glasses handy. You could just get a pair of prescription goggles.
