Swiftech with peltier...

Hey again...

Regarding my earlier post:
Folks tells me that I shouldn't use a peltier with a HedgeHog with a Black Delta fan. But why will companies like Swiftech want to sell normat aircoolers with peltiers? Are Swiftech's coolers just better than the HedgeHog or is the Swiftech only for FC-PGA?

And another question:
How much will a watercooler cost? ANd do I have to check it up every day to remove water from the CPU?
Some people talk alot about great condensation in watercoolers. Can I find a watercooler wich does not put water on the CPU?

I wouldn't say that.
However the heatsink will have to be able to get rid of the heat of the 80+watt peltier (minimum you need with a TBird) and of the CPU itself (another 30-45watts).
Seeing as how it has trouble with just the CPU alone....you figure it out 🙂

All you have to do is properly insulate everything and you shouldn't have a problem.
However checking the stuffs from time to time is always a good precaution 🙂

if done right watercooling is ultra reliable.if you are using a peltier, especially with amd cpu's you need to use water.
