hello,

I just had this heatsink delivered at the door and right now its still fanless. I had ordered a 92mm Enermax to go with it but heard these aren't too good when used for CPU heatsink. They were more intended as case coolers.

So my question what good 92mm or 80mm fans are there that don't make you deaf or irritated;) It can't be much more than 40Db however. I'm looking at my local shops and sites but they don't really offre that much. They have a great deal of papst and enermax, vantec etc but can't really find my match. If I had a few model names to go by it would make looking a whole lot easier.

But it has to be a fan that really is meant for CPU cooler and it has to move alot of air, the enermax however rated at 56CFM or something did apparently not move as much air as many other lower CFM rated fans did.

Hoping to hear a few of your choice picks,

Lay

Well I have exactly your motherboard and CPU so I know exactly what you mean. I still use that ALCu zalman 7000 and my idle is 39-41 and my loads are 57-62;) This coming from motherboard monitor but I know mobomonitor has the same temps as my bios, so this bios indeed posts the temps wrong. Cuz its impossible to have this high at load;) But those temps sound very nice, I hope I can pinch about 5 degrees off of my 62.

Are there any other good fans(80 or 92mm)out there, in case the panaflo's aren't available to me in Europe.
