Swiftech MCX462+ AMD s462 Heatsink any good?

I am building a high performance amd system

amd 3200+
? fan
9800 Pro
80 gb, 8meg

this is my first GOOD system that I had in a while.
But is this Swiftech cooler any good?

It is a good cooler, but there are others cheaper that would perform as well or better. I would recommend thermalright: SK7, SLK800, SLK900...the SK7 and SLK800 should be cheaper than the MCX462+ and out perform it, while the SLK900 is about the same price as it but really outperforms it. But we're only talking a few degrees C and these are all the top of the line cooling systems on air, so I would say go for one of the cheapest as they will have near the same performance and save you some $..check here for more info Heatsink Roundup
