Hi,
I currently have an A7M266, and and am seriously considering getting a MSI K7Master, as it's supposed to be as stable as the A7M, and has much better tweaking (multiplier control) and so on in the BIOS. However, I'm wondering if my MC462 will fit on this board?

Thanks,
Brendan

I have a K7Master with a MC462A on it. I had to gently bend 1 capacitor on the board at about a 45degree angle for it to fit, but that hasn't seemed to cause any problems. I love the boards stability, but it only goes to 150MHz FSB, I would like to see up to 166MHz. I also wish it had 1MHz steps for FSB...the next step down from 150 is 144.
The multiplier will only adjust up from standard, it won't adjust down. For example, my 1.33 has a standard multiplier of 10 so the only options are 10 10.5 11 11.5 12 -- since it runs fine at 10*150, there really isn't any reason I would need 9.5 or anything lower, but I thought you should know.
