Hi,
If any of the Anandtech reviews read this, I was wondering if there was anyway to get an updated review of the Swiftech MC-370 usuing Socket A processors. On the site I noticed the MC-370/371 fits Socket A's also and I was wondering if they worked just as good. FYI: I have a T-bird 850 on an Abit KT7 mobo (was really curious if the MC-370 would fit with those transitors so close to the socket on the KT7, but I can probably get that answer from Swiftech)
Thanks a bunch!

P.S. If any other readers have tried this as well, let me in on the results!

Check out overclockers.com, scroll down the page a ways and they have an article on it. Apparently it doesn't do so well with an overclocked Duron, from their experience it looks like the peltier is not powerful enough to keep up with the amount of heat the AMD chips pump out.

I read the review, and it seems like a lot of trouble and money to get those results. He even went out and bought another $100.00 power supply to run the thing. My T-Bird is at 1.85v, and with just an Alpha and Delta fan, it idles in the low 30's Cel. and never gets past 40 under full load! (Average 36-38 Cel, with my room AC on medium) I will put up with the noise from my Delta before I go to trouble like that for the results it shows :) This is copied from the review:

DURON TEST RESULTS

Power Supply.....Idle Temp.....Prime95 Temp

AT 230 watts, 12v.....29C/84F.....37C/98F
RadioShack, 13.8v.....25C/77F.....34C/93F
Water Cooled Only.....40C/104F.....43C/107F

AMD Duron 650 @ 900 MHz, 1.85v, Senfu radiator 3/8" tubing, Pondmaster 1.5 submersible pump, "Water Cooled Only" results with BE Cooling copper block, temps measured by ASUS A7V.
