Are there still things out there like Swft to create flash files? Flash just costs too much at the moment so what are the options out there to develop swf files using the same sorta interface as Flash MX 2004? I'd really like to be able to use the same actionscript 2.0 stuff specifically. I looked at SWIFT and trying it out right now but are there any others like it or maybe even more functionality?
 
Adobe used to have Live Motion, if you can find a copy (ebay maybe), it's pretty powerful (version 2, not 1) and much easier to learn than Flash. I still have a copy of version 2, used it a few times to edit a little video, but I was using it quite a bit for swf output.
