MoneyMINTR - your memory benchmark is kinda low. my cpu is at 980mhz right now and my benchmark is 421/496. what kind of ram do you have?

1022 at 1.65v? damn... and i thought my 966 at 1.65v was good...

I'm using the Mushking High Perf. REV2 stuff.

I'll have to investigate this low memory bench score further.

ahh,

I've figured out why I get these low memory scores. It's because I can't set get it to boot @ high FSB with the "5T/7T" setting under chip configuration. I was able to get it under FSB 133MHz and the memory scores are just as good as 146 FSB. damn, I wonder if it's just my CUSL2 board. I just got the mushkin memory in too.

mine's at 7,9 too. it seems as though the board can't tolerate 5,7 above 133mhz fsb. is your memory at cas 2-2-2?

YOU MAKE ME SICK!!! just kidding, just showing my frustration with my cpu as i could only do 933 mhz at 1.85 volts in the beginning but now i can do it 1.75 volts. I am waiting on a new slotket versus this old generic slotket I have. It will supposedly lower my required voltage and higher my overclock. Should be cool

yes, my memory is at cas2 (222)

At 133FSB with the 5T/7T, 2-2-2 setting, I get 410ALU / 475 FPU.

Go figure, it's a little faster than 146 FSB.

are you sure that overclock is perfectly stable? Hva eyou tried running say 5 runs of 3dmark2000 in a row? or perhaps playing unreal tournament with a bucnh of bots on godlike for a long time?

Yes it will do 3dmark2000 all night at that speed... DOH!!! I forgot to write down the #`s on this chip (been in almost 4 weeks) I got this chip from (chottoed) that was on a BE6-II @980mhz 1.8 volts that I also bought from him along with an Alpha PEP66 & a G200 8meg (tonka toy video card) for $345 for all of it... I think it was an excellent deal (for both). Rest of the system spec`s...

Celery 366 @ 630 with water cooling only. 2.1 volts. It was great while it lasted. I had that little celery down to 9 degrees Celsius with ice chilled water.

Here are my Sandra scores. Dont know if they are any good. How do I get the Sandra to give me comparisons against other 1 ghz machines??? Mine compares me against 600's.
CPU scores are 3259 Dreystone and 1589 Whetstone.
Memory scores are ALU=490, FPU=549.
I have screenshots of both but cannot post here.

Umm.. PIII 700 @ 700. Does that count? I've had it up to 864, but really couldn't tell a performance difference, so I just decided to plop it back down to 700. I understand that the longevity of the chip is affected if you overclock it anyways.

It's on a Soyo 7VCA w/ 128MB of Mushkin PC133. cb0 stepping on the 700. So it is capable of much higher, I just didn't see the perf diff.

Got the new version and yes it now compares me to other 1 ghz systems. My system looks good then!! W00T! The scores were the same with the new version, it just looks better since now I am against other 1 ghz systems.
In Quake3 Arena I get 202.1 fps in demo001 timedemo, with the default config, but after having turned off things like blood, gibbs, attacker, names above players and running in 1024x768. All other eyecandy is on.
