It was already flooding on some streets in downtown Atlanta yesterday from all the rain...it was really funny to see people claim they were "trapped" in their homes because of waist deep water. Can't wait to see what another 5" will do.

ouch. again?

it rained all last weekend too. not the end of the world or anything, but a lot of streets in my area are prone to flooding, so anything more than a drizzle has the potential to affect my life.

maybe I'll spend the weekend inside a movie theater.

oh wait. the road to the movie theater is one of the roads that floods. doh!

Yeah, a boat would definitely be more useful than the robot exo-skeleton than that one guy in Alaska is building in his backyard. :D

I would rather have 5 inches of Snow..........

Then let it melt slowly..

massive rainstorms are not fun in the spring. :(

Don't know where in WA you live, but Seattle gets less rainfall than a lot of places (NY, Atlanta, Boston, etc.)

You call 37" of average rainfall per year a lot? (weather.com for Seattle).

The average yearly rainfall here is 86.8"! We're already at 16" for this year (above average by about 3" or so). Max rainfall is 135" per year. :Q

This is not going to be fun for my team's first outdoor track meet tomorrow. Well, it might be fun, but it really won't get us anywhere. We'll see.
