Sweet the basement is coming along nicely

In the house we just bought we had a 400+ square foot finished basement that we had no idea what to do with. My desk takes up one small corner, otherwise there is tons of space. Well as of right now we have filled the extra space with an air hockey table and dart board. Ping pong table is upstairs at the moment and will be moved downstairs tomorrow. That just leaves the bar which will be built in two weeks. 🙂

Never expected a ping pong table, but the woman went out and bought one today. :beer:
 
heh i been working on my basement also. almost done. all i have to do is fix one power outlet (waiting on finding someoen who knows what they are doing) and have to figure out what to do with the floor in the one room. right now its just cement.

we got 2 rooms down there. Used to be a pool table in one and a 2nd living room with a wood burning stove in the other.

Pool table will come after we buy a hot tub. Shuffle board is a possibility and as stated earlier bar will be completed before Christmas.

ohh i love playing ping pong, shuffle board and air hockey!

a bar with a kegerator would be nice. or maybe a projector with a 100inch TV heh.

Wet bar or dry bar?
 
Our house had a finished basement initially with a 15ft wet bar, full sized pool table centered in the main room (perpendicular to the bar) and a host of other goodies.

That was before the wife wanted more space for storage. Now the bar has been removed, pool table sold, 1000 sq ft basement re-carpeted, and the only thing down here now is my desk/computers (in the inset behind where the bar counter was), all my weights/bench/treadmill, and about 5000lbs of her boxes and crap.

Kegerator will be here before the end of the year and projector is in the works. 🙂
 
Awesome, we finished our's ourself not too long ago, I've got a nice 14ft by 34ft room with an 8.5 foot ceiling for myself now with a pool table and ping pong table right outside my room 😀
