Sweet or lightly salted butter?

I prefer no-salt butter or margarine - but given a choice, I'll choose margarine because it tastes better to me.

Unsalted. It costs a lot in the store, but if you're cooking Baklava or something that absolutely requires it, you can boil the butter in a pan and skin off the foam and that will desalinate it. :)

The joys of each are unique and manifold. To better express my feelings on the subject, I have composed the following haiku:

The joys of butter
Like rain on desert blossoms
Beyond words to tell

Thank you.

You're strange. Manifold is a car part. Butter is a food.

I found something that made me think of you, again, the other day.. lol.

I was clearing the grass away from a small tree growing in our yard that we want to keep, and once when I pulled out a clump of grass, there was this little greenish caterpillar(Or maybe it was a grub..). curled up in a little area underneath. I was glad I didn't hurt it.

It took it a while to wake up, but it started crawling all over my hand. lol.. I went in and showed my girlfriend, to which she responded.. "Ewww... get it away!!". :p

It was cool when it walked, its skin was semi-transparent.. you could see all its insides.. ;)

Do not bicker with me:|! I am the poet here. Write your own damn haiku and then we'll talk. And look up the word before you make light of the joys of butter. Butter owns you repeatedly and in ways more manifold than I can say. Before the car people came along and corrupted it, it was a noble word. Now I get to deal with noobs who say it's a car part:|

Just kiddin', it's cool:D But I did use manifold in the proper way.

Unsalted when I'm cooking.
Salted when I spread it on bread.

I buy both.

That's cool! Not many caterpillars around here yet. Some beetles are starting to wake up though.

It's full fledged spring here.. although it's been very rainy. I would try to ID it, but it would probably take the next month.. that's assuming someone has even bothered to post something on the 'net about it, lol.

It got me into curious mode, tho.. so I went and looked all over for bugs. By far, the most interesting thing I found, was all the things living in the fallen pinecones from a ponderosa pine in our yard.

Tapped them out on a big piece of black construction paper.. You wouldn't believe all the stuff in them... One had about 100 baby earwigs in it, lol.

There were all kinds of mites and tiny spiders almost too small to see. Some really weird, very small silvery caterpillar type things, some small beetles...

It made me want to have a 10,000$ camera. :p

You also create ghee in the process.

Sweet, but only because I grew up on it -- I like both equally when given the choice and it really depends on my mood.
