I'm guessing he has to use the Zune, as the Zune just outputs video to his high end headunit that has a video input.

Nice setup! Do you have an HD or "regular" Zune? I like my 4GB a lot, just wish they made a non-touch screen 16GB or greater version. IMO you need physical buttons for a device in a car, in order to use without having to look & focus on the device.

the 120 is what I'm using and I'm looking for a remote so I don't have to mess with the Zune at all

The Zune HD dock works with all Zune's and has a nice remote. If only I could find my remote!!

i have one on my 65". that damn remote is too tiny to be found most of the time.

id love to be able to manipulate the zuneHD interface through a touch screen in my truck, that would allow me to lock up the zune in a console oor something and still have access to using it. i cant see even bothering with it unless it was an extra video in source that i could potentially watch movies through.

Doesn't the Zune had the touch screen audio controls? I know the ZuneHD has something similar to Pocket Touch on my iPod Touch. MUCH easier to control it without looking than even with hard buttons. I swipe anywhere in the screen up/down to raise lower the volume, double tap to pause/play & swipe right/left to change the track forward and back. I'll never go back to a PMP with buttons again.

I have no idea what these guys are talking about. Touchscreen controls are disabled when in dock / TV output mode.

yes they are disabled, but the zunehd is easy enough to use without looking, and the remote is pretty simple to master as well. i also have 7 movies on my sons zunehd, so watching them in the truck would be cool. but i dont have a video screen stereo in my truck.
