I logged into IM a couple minutes ago, and apparently Trillian Astra and/or Yahoo is capable of sending and receiving messages from the future. They should patent this stuff! My wife IM'd me to make sure I got to work alright (bad weather)... check out the timestamps:

[08:45] Wife: ok where are you?
[08:45] Wife: hopefully not in a ditch somewhere
[08:44] Me: I'm not here
[08:44] Me: Whoa
[08:44] Me: how'd you do that?
[08:44] Wife: are you on a secret mission?
[08:44] Me: Look at this:
[08:45] Me: (Copy & Paste)
--- [08:45] Wife: ok where are you?
--- [08:45] Wife: hopefully not in a ditch somewhere
--- [08:44] Me: I'm not here
--- [08:44] Me: Whoa
--- [08:44] Me: how'd you do that?
[08:45] Wife: yeah
[08:45] Me: Look at the time stamps
[08:45] Wife: I was getting a bi tworried
[08:45] Me: wtf?
[08:45] Me: You messaged me from the future!
[08:45] Wife: um
[08:45] Wife: LOL

I get emails from the future all the time (and from the past also, randomly get 3 day old emails).

side note, there used to be a site where you could set up future emails. like wishing someone a happy birthday in the future when you might not be here. kinda spooky.

Emails are one thing, but IM's?! That's just cool! It's not like these were offline messages either (I know, the timestamp was just messed up...), they weren't delayed, she had just sent them.
