I recieved my CD-RW/DVD Rom combo drive for my 'new laptop', 512MB (2X256MB) ram sticks. I recently got a PIII 850MHZ processor for this laptop so these are all nice upgrades. I've only got two more 'planned upgrades' for this laptop which are a larger, higher resolution screen and a faster/larger HDD.
Old parts: Celeron 600mhz, 128MB Ram (2X64Mb), 12" screen, 5GB HDD, CD-Rom Drive. I know it may seem worthless to upgrade an old laptop but my logic is that if I need to go somewhere where it's not exactly 'safe' but need a laptop anyways, I could lug this thing around and if it go stolen, it wouldn't be a total loss. I'm also considering hooking up my laptop to my car but I'm not sure how to go about it. (Physically and software wise)
