Ahh, 3086 songs and growing thanks to Pepsi's iTunes promotion! Studying will never be the same.

Now, onto accessories.

I've been eyeing the Sony fontopias (they've got white ones now) and I already got a rubber slip case for it.

The only accessory I *REALLY* want is the Monster cigarette 12v charger that doubles as an FM transmitter--I'm surprised they don't have more of these (and the Monster is the cheapest one!)

13 hours? At school I'll leave mine plugged in to my lappy so it'll stay charged. At home I'll leave it plugged in to my desktop. I already have a smaller flash unit for portable use.

The moster car charger/FM transmitter is pretty good. I think its called teh Icar PLay Wireless. My only complaint is that the connector to the base of the ipod is REALLY hard to disconnect. It could be just my cable or I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. you really need to push the side and pull on it really hard to disconnect it. Other than that, it works really well. It'd be great if there was something you could use to prop the connected ipod on to your dash, cuz its a pain in the ass to try and switch songs while your trying to drive. Oh yea, I love my ipod, use it for lecture notes/non stop music on long commutes. What more can you ask from a mp3 player?
 
dont get white headphones. trust me, youll wish you hadnt. after a day or two, the novelty wears off, and then you just feel self conscious every time you wear them outside. its just like screaming, "Look! I have a really expensive mp3 player!" besides, since so many people now have ipods, the white just isnt as cool as it once was. the next earphones i buy will be black.

It was never cool. Buy an MP3 player because you want to listen to MP3s, not because it's trendy...

Heh, forgot to mention that my iPod also came with free MX400 earbuds from Sennheiser which I haven't received yet. I'll compare them to the earbuds, and of course I'll use whichever one sounds better. Also came with free HD202s from Sennheiser and free el cheapo benwin speakers.

 
I got my Dell DJ today that I bought for 140 used. I like it quite a bit. A bit thicker than the ipod, but using the red chair software makes it so easy. Just drag and drop.
