anyone seen the bestbuy ad for them? i saw a couple of them walking around best buy when i went to pick up some fuji dvd-r.

man what a rip. baffles me that their business managed to grow this big. are people so dumb that they will pay premium to have some incompetitent geeks to install software for them?

what's funny is when i go to bestbuy, i see so many people getting help from those workers...and sometimes you'll hear the sales rep saying complete bs. i really do feel sorry for these customers. i have a feeling this geeksquad, is on the same line as bb's customer service.

Please use your shift key, it's there for a reason. I sense some jealousy here, are you mad because you can't get paid for your own incompetency?

Some people don't know enough or are afraid of their computer systems. For these people the price per hour can be rewarding.

I went in a couple of weeks ago, on the odd chance they would have a SATA to parallel ATA adapter. Of course not.

The "Geeksquad" guy that came over to me didn't even know what SATA was. Told him I was getting rid of my RAID SATA card and wanted to use one SATA drive on a PATA board. He then tried to sell me a regular SATA card

When I used to work at best buy (before GeekSquad), a decent percentage of the techs were very competent, they just arent usually the ones on the floor talking to people.
